Hey Greg & Lisa,

To the two people who are always walking down the red carpet in our eyes!

Too much fun! Thanks for making the awards something to look forward to and for keeping us on our toes! Art/film is part of our culture, thanks for helping us embrace it.

Thanks for including me again - miss you guys - did see a lot of movies this past year - loved The Martian in 3-D! I also loved Five Flights Up with Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton, not just for the New York scenes but those two and the young actors playing them in earlier times!
If you are ever down this way, let me know - email me and we will get together!

In a world of such uncertainty, it’s comforting to know that as long as there are Academy Awards, there will be an Academy Award contest from the Postles! Hope all is well.

As long as I do better than mark Lucius I’ll consider that a “win”

Yikes! Those are tough questions.Actually, I have no idea, but thanks for coming up with them because it adds to the suspense of the Oscars and puts me in the mood for movie madness!;)

Louis B. Mayer gave a banquet for the core group of people that would form the International Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. A somewhat pretentious name for a group of people in the entertainment business. It was July of 1927. I remember it well because I was bussing tables at the Ambassador Hotel at the time.

Happy 2016 Oscar season Greg & Lisa! I think Joe Kennedy hosted the party in 1927....

Thank you for inviting me to share in Oscar Night. Unfortunately, I have to arise practically with the sun on Monday so will read all about it in the paper. Have a great time!

So fun doing this...I simply love your traditions! I will be thinking of you both while I watch with my Oscar poll next to me. ;) Wish I could be at your Oscar Party!

Hollywood is so out of touch in search of fame and the almighty $. Their liberal hypocrisy and bias must be exposed. Until “It’s a Mad World” is giving a best pic every award, these people must be stopped! Also please give respect to the best line ever, from A Bridge to Far, “Madness, shear madness”!!!

Thank you for the great contest, dear one. I think I am going to win this year and give my secret strategy to Toby for next year.
But we are all just chasing you!!

I’m sorry, but I accidentally submitted my ballot before I finished posting my entry for “Snubbed for Best Picture.” The full name of the film is “The Girl in the House by the River in Des Moines, Part Two.” Thank you for holding the contest again.

Hi Greg & Lisa,
Did actually do some research online. I think I only saw 1 nominated picture, so I really can’t make a judgement by myself. I don’t think I’ll end up at the bottom of the list, though, because I used recommendations created by someone who, I am sure, actually watched each picture (like you and Lisa do every year). Have a fun party and I’ll talk to you soon!

Greg and Lisa, you rock! Wow, tonight is your night and we are merely humble neophytes. I think I’ll have a Jack’s pizza while you guys eat like kings! Nonetheless, I will thoroughly enjoy that pizza. What a cozy night to watch these awards. We’ll all have fun! Thanks!

I confess! Unable to see some of the movies/documemtaries,I chose B., just like I did at Cathedral when I had no idea what Sister Vivien was talking about. At least in your Oscar Poll I got a whopping 95!!
Thanks for making me pick my own brain and leave my comfort zone.In the end, this prompts me to watch ALL of the shorts, movies, docs, cartoons before 2017. ;)
